1993 MG RV8 3.9 V8 – Oxford Blue – Rare & Desirable

One of only 258 MG RV8s produced in the highly desirable Oxford Blue – a genuine modern classic.

This is a superb example of the limited-production MG RV8, combining the unmistakable styling of the classic MGB roadster with Rover's legendary aluminium 3.9-litre V8.

Finished in the stunning Oxford Blue pearlescent, this is an exceptionally desirable colour on the RV8, with only 258 examples produced worldwide. Total MG RV8 production was just 1,983 cars, making these a genuinely rare modern British sports car.

Under the bonnet is the 3,946cc Rover V8, featuring electronic fuel injection and producing approximately 190 bhp (142 kW) and 318 Nm of torque. Power is sent through the 5-speed manual gearbox and to the rear wheels through the RV8's special Quaife automatic torque-biasing limited-slip differential, giving the car excellent traction and making the most of the V8's torque.

This example has travelled 108,934 km and was imported into New Zealand in February 1998.

It has just received a comprehensive service, including:
