A beautifully presented and thoroughly rebuilt 1976 Land Rover Series 3 Safari Top, offering the perfect combination of classic Land Rover character, improved drivability and genuine usability.

First registered in March 1976 (NZ NEW), this Series 3 has undergone a comprehensive mechanical rebuild and was reassembled in 2024. The result is a very enjoyable classic Land Rover that drives exceptionally well and has plenty of power and comfort for both local cruising and longer adventures.

The original powertrain has received significant attention, including a fully rebuilt and balanced 186 Holden engine, with the engine also ported for improved performance. The gearbox has been fully rebuilt, making for a smooth and confident driving experience. LVV carried out for engine conversion in 1996.
