First sold new by Craig and Young Ltd in Oamaru, this Land Rover was owned by a doctor from new and primarily used for highway driving before eventually passing into the ownership of Ian, who kept the vehicle for a period thereafter.

What makes this example particularly appealing is its originality and collection of increasingly rare period features. It retains its original trafficators, a distinctive feature of early Land Rovers that is seldom seen today, along with its original factory heater, another rare and desirable accessory.

Adding further interest is the fitted PTO, an exceptionally rare old-new-stock unit that has never been used. This represents an estimated $2,000 fitment and is a particularly interesting feature for enthusiasts and collectors of early Land Rovers.
